I have just bought my wife an Experia L1 for the wifi calling facility. For some reason, the mobile signal cannot penetrate almost two foot of sandstone wall up here on the fellside!
The issue is this. When the phone is turned on it logs into the wifi router and wifi calling is activated and works well. If she goes out of router range and comes back into the house, the phone does not activate wifi calling and has to be rebooted to kick in again.
I have installed a wi fi app and set it to poll the router/wifi every five seconds in an attempt to force it to log in but to no avail.
Anyone know of a fix, any advice gratefully received.
