WiFi PEAP

Hi All,

We have been providing the Xperia L1 to employees recently to replace our previous device, however, we have come across an issue, when users try to connect to our corportate wifi which uses Radius, the only authentication option is EAP-SIM, it doesnt provide the PEAP option, also if I try and manually add a network PEAP is still not listed.

Is this a known issue as its causing us issues.

Cheers,

Will

Hi @WillTrueman, welcome to the forum!

If you could send me the IMEI of one of these devices in a PM I will try to look in to this for you.

Thanks!

@WillTrueman There should be a new software update available for the Xperia L1 now, Could you please try updating one of your devices and check if you are able to select PEAP now?

Hi Christofer,

I have the same issue. Phone was received yesterday and updated automatically using home WiFi.

Today at work I tried to access the WiFi network but this has PEAP authentication and only SIM is available on the phone.

Can you please help me too?

I appreciate your time.

Jaime.

We have the same issue at work, seen on three phones so far.

Removing the SIM and rebooting does not help.

If I restore the phone to factory settings, and connect to WLAN during the initial setup, it works fine.

This is a WLAN using WPA2 Enterprise.
