iPlayer radio on Bravia TV (KDL32EX403)

I know this has been asked before, but there has been no updates for a while (as far as I can tell) but will we ever see Radio on the iPlayer on my Sony TV?

Hi

Unlikely I'm afraid. This TV runs the slightly older MHEG/Freesat version of iPlayer, which the BBC have largely parked the development of in favour of newer V3 which includes radio.

Easiest way to add it would be to get one of the 2012 Blu-ray players which would add other new services like Netflix as well as the newer/mmuch improved version of iPlayer

This may be a daft question but, with all channels being avaialble on digital TVs, why would you want it anyway?

Basically, Digital TV Radio just offers live  - iPlayer offers on demand/catchup.
