I have a KDL32W705 and use a Virgin V+ box for TV. The Virgin instructions for using the Virgin remote to control the TV sound are a little contrived, but basically you enter a code (3670 in this case) and press a set of buttons and eventually the Virgin remote will control the TV sound.
I am reasonably familiar with how to carry out this and have successfully configure an older Panasonic set, however I can't get this new one to work.
During the "registration" period when you have to hold the Remote Standby button down the words "test" appear on the screen, suggesting that the remote is "doing something", but the set never auto switches off (the Virgin prompt to release the standby).
Has anyone managed to get a Sony 2014 volume working OK with a Virgin V+ box remote?
Hi there
Unfortunately I cannot help you - but as another option, have you searched the Virgin forums too?
Cheers
Yes....but I'll post there too....Thanks
