Lovefilm now in HD, just not with Sony

Lovefilm have today (30th May 2012) that they will now stream in HD except for Sony products (ie Bravia TVs, Blu-ray Players and PS3s). Why is this?!

After the Netflix fiasco with no app at all for pre 2012 TVs, now no HD from Lovefilm for any Sony devices.

Some kind of announcement from Sony might be helpful here.
