Hi,

thats a little odd however can you try the following before you dismiss this as faulty, remove the batteries and re insert them, better still replace with fresh ones and try again.

Thanks. I have tried replacing the batteries. Same result: every thing else works but not the programme guide. As you say, it's a little odd.

ok, if you have any warranty left take it up with your dealer for a replacement remote or see if you can borrow one to test, it may be that the guide button is stuck somehow.

failing the above, the remote has a model number on it you could have a look on e bay for one or try the link below.
