RTE on Sony Bravia and Sony RDR with freeview - no picture

Hi

I have a Sony Bravia KDL40L4000 TV and a SONY DVD Recorder RDR-HXD1095. Both have freeview incorporated. Both work well. I could receive a good analogue signal on both also, before the recent switchover. Following the retune, I can select a number of RTE channels ( channel 800 onwards). I can hear clearly the sound but cannot see a picture on the Bravia or the DVD Recorder. What do I need to do to remedy this ?

Bad news. You'll either have to buy a saorview set top box or a new TV and DVD recorder. Your TV and DVD recorder obviously don't have a DVB-T2 tuner which is needed for RTE hence why you can only get audio and no picture.
