Hi, I just looked at the specifictation and could only see Smart Mode: Yes, which refers to the picture stretching. Hovering over the text displays the following definition:

When a 4:3 picture is enlarged to the 16:9 format, some parts of the image at the top and bottom of the screen are lost. Smart Mode, a non-linear picture enlargement function, generates a full-format 16:9 picture that depicts the image data of a 4:3 broadcast.
