Brand new Vaio W21 won't start

Just unboxed my new Vaio W21 and to my disbelief the damn thing won't start. It show no signs of life at all. Ive connected the adapter correctly and it has a green light on it so there shouldnt be a problem wit that.

Anyone had similar experience? Just wanted to know if there is anything I can do before I return it.

As it could be many things, I would return it and get a replacement.

A disappointing start!!
