Configure fax in windows xp home

Hi, I have just bought the vaio VGC-V2S, and have discovered the fax facilities. Used the fax wizard and evrything was fine until i came across the question about entering my TSID. I entered my tel number but i am not sure that is what it should be, so if anyone can advise me i would be most grateful

Take a look at this Windows 2000 resource, it should shed some light on what TSID is, it appears to be synonymous with CSID - but this website should explain everything.

Hope this helps.

TSID stands for Transmitting Station ID. When you send a fax, your TSID is broadcast out to the receiving fax machine.

The TSID will be displayed on the receiving machine's display screen, and the receiving machine may also stamp your TSID onto the header of your fax as it is received.

You can configure your TSID to be your name, company name or a valid fax number. Should be able to change it in the Settings area.
