NW-HD3!!!!

Sorry if this post is in the wrong place not sure where else to put it.

Has anyone got any more info on the HD3 than on the Sony website? I was all set to get a HD1 today for £229, I know you Vaio Poket owners have got the firmware UG for MP3 support, are sony going to release an UG for the HD1 I ask?? Or just leave it and tell people to buy the HD3!!

yeah nw-hd3 is cool.... mp3!

But Sony offers also an upgrade for the nw-hd1 and nw-hd2, but this will cost about 19$ incl. shipping.
I've heard they might change the chip....

But after all, the hd3 looks cool

I agree the hd3 looks better but the casing is aluminium not magnesium like the hd1, it also means the nw3 is 20g heavier, All my music is in atrac3plus 256k anyway, 128k mp3 sounds cack, so sod it im going for the hd1 its £199 on amazon!!

well, the looks of the nwhd1 aren't bad either, so there really will be a CD, I may buy the hd1 too, since the new one would (hd3) be more expensive, heavier und a bit bigger.

well, we'll see, have to wait a bit

my info about sending the nwhd1 to sony to upgrade was guessed by another guy on an info page, so I guess the CD theory will be more reasonable
