Love my vaio, but its a little quiet...

From my own experience there are no Vaio's that have much in the way of volume and I don't think there is a way round it.

If you want more volume plug it into your stereo.

If you need it on the move get a headphone volume booster.

I use Sennheiser MX 500 earphones with the Vaio. They do seem to produce a lot louder and responsive bass sound to the music.
Not expensive, 13.99 GBP on Ebay and believe me they are a good earphone.
