PCV RX501 - upgrade memory and graphic card for FARCRY

Hi

i have just bought the game FarCry and need to upgrade memory and video card

I was thinking of upgrading with
- 2x Corsair XMS 512Mo PC3200 Cas 2 (i have currently 2x256Samsung PC2700)
- RAdeon 9800 Pro (I have Asus nvidia GeForce Ti4200)

will ATI Radeon cards work well with Sony's, I have seen issues on the forum ?
which Radeon card to choose, there are so many (Asus, PowerColor, Saphire, Hercules ...)?

well since no one could or bothered to answer. i did some investigating.

result
- RX501 is maxed out at PC2700 memory no point in getting anything above
- for video cards u can put ATI 9800 pro or Gforce FX5900 ranges, however u should add a fan on upper bak since these cards will generate a lot of heat. Even with just 275watts Sony has quality components which will run these graphic cards.
