I have been using the Sony TDM-NC1 for several years now with M-Crew Server loaded on my PC running XP Pro with no problems. I am planning on upgrading to Windows 7 or 8 soon and know I can use the Ultimate version of the software running a virtual machine. Her is my question:
I have a Windows Home Server 2003 (WHS 2003) running with Servio but it does not do a good job of utilizing the TDM-NC1, it takes a long time to load and then I loose some of the features on the TDM-NC1. I would like to load M-Crew Server on my WHS but have not been able to find anyone who has been successful in doing this.
Anyone with information on doing this would be very helpful in making it work.
Ps. I really enjoy being able to party mode the TDM-NC1, which I have 5 in use allowing me to walk throughout the house and garage listing to the same music. This is a wonderful feature and Sony seams to have gotten away from this type of connectivity.
