Sony Stereo Cannot play music from Android phone

Have a Mex-N6002BD car stereo.  

i am connected via nfc for phone calls but cannot connect music. I have tried installation of songpal on my phone and I cannot find the stereo..

In my Bluetooth settings on my phone there are three boxes 

Call audio, Media Audio and input Audio.  Media Audio is not ticked and when I try to select it it won't.  

I'm assuming this is the problem?  

I also have another vehicle with the same stereo and it all connects fine. 

I have the same problem with my partners phone too .

I'm just going to try to find out some more information for you. In the meantime, maybe someone else in the community might have some ideas.

Hi Janey,

I'd suggest trying to reset the unit to factory settings using the steps on page 7 of the manual here before trying to connect again.
