Coming from a Z3, how does this phone compare?

My Z3 is over 2 years old now and the phone is starting to slow down and heat up a lot so I'm in the market for a new phone and definitely don't want to pay for a flagship one anymore.

The XA1 series looks to be all I want, but how do they compare to the Z3 performance wise?

Hi @id3alistic, welcome to the community.

The Cameras are slightly better on the XA1-Ultra but doesn't support 4K recording.

The CPU on the XA1-Ulta is an Octa-core 2300mHz compared to a Quad-core 2500mHz on the Z3.

The XA1-Ultra has a smaller battery than the Z3, but the XA1-Ultra has a larger internal memory at 32GB compared to 16GB, and the XA1-Ultra has 1GB more RAM

For the issue you are having with your Z3 I recommend you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion as this can often resolve it for you.

it's a great upgrade and the phone big in beatiful but ive had mine for a wewek now and every video i watch in eg YouTube snapchat facebook ect every video is pixely and sharp, looks horrid makes watching videos hard. other then that it's a great phone.
