My phone taking more than 4 hours to be charged

Hello everyone, 

I hope someone who really knows a solution could really help out as i don't any more mess with my phone just for the sake of saying a reply. So here is the story >> .. I bought my phone for more than a year and it was charging working pretty well with its original charger and power banks.. There was certain one i used for 3-4 months that charged my phone faster then other one so I used it sometimes rather than the main charger and few weeks ago I put my phone on the main charger it takes so much time to be full like 5 hours and lose the charger slow. When it used to be charged for 1 hour full battery but loses the charge fast. I stopped using all my power banks since i realized that few weeks ago ..

my question is >> is there a way to get it as it was? And what should I do now?

Hi @SenioreetA, sorry to hear about this.

According to the specifications, it should take around 3 hours to charge the device from 0% to 100% when it's powered off when the original charger and cable is used.

Is it the same if you charge the device when it's powered off or if you restart it in safe mode and then you charge it? Just to make sure that an application or service is not the cause of this.

If you have another Sony original charger or cable, or one of your friends, colleagues or family members have an Xperia device you can ask them if you can borrow their charger.
