Hi all,
after moving to my new appartment (new wifi network, new router, new provider) my Xperia XA1 does not work properly in the wifi. It connects without any problem (full bars for wifi connectivity) but data transmission is either very slow or completely interrupted (wifi says "connected, no internet" with the small x in the connectivity sign). All other devices (laptop, Samsung smartphone) work without any problem with regard to connectivity or speed.
- The XA1 is updated to Oreo 8.0
- Router is in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, but tried switching off both
- Starting XA1 in safe mode doesn't help
- deleting and re-connecting to network doesn't help
- New router set-up doesn't help
Last resort would be a firmware reset, but re-installing all apps seems rather bothersome. Any other ideas? Did anyone have similar issues?
