New XA won't recognise sd card!

Tried two sd cards, neither of them are recognised by the phone. What should I do?

@Pucklexis Have you tried a simple restart?

Yes, I have. I've also tried putting the card in when the phone is off instead of on. Nothing seems to work.

@Pucklexis Any chance you have another device to format the card into?

I used one of the sd card in a Motorola phone previously. Once inserted I could format it to that phone and then put it into the Xperia which didn't do anything.

Strange. Did you insert it correctly in the Xperia? Any chance you could have the phone checked?
