Notification sound played but there is no new notification

My phone keeps playing a notification tune when there's nothing to see. No texts, no emails,,what could be wrong?.

Hi @Norwich, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about this!

Is there any message on your screen when this sound is being played, not a notification just some information on the screen, for example "Read error"?

There is a small NFC sensor placed on the back of your phone and if you have the phone in a case together with a bus card or a bank card, could you try removing either the case or the cards from the case and see if you still experience that this notification sound is being played?

You can also reboot your phone in safe mode. That way we can see if this is caused by a third party application or not!
