Very slow charging Xperia xa

About a month after the purchase, my HA was charged fairly quickly and stood about 5-6 hours of screen work, which could not but rejoice. This joy did not last long and soon the charging time doubled, (up to 100% about 4 hours), while, And the screen's working time was reduced by almost half. I sinned on often arriving pieces of firmware. Yesterday, in some magical way, the phone started charging again quickly, as before, while the accubattery program showed charging current of about 1300ma. Today everything fell into place, it charges for a long time, the current is about 500ma. The same thing happens from other charges and from the computer, it turns out the current is regulated programmatically, the charging itself does not affect it? I heard about the system function in this phone qnovo ..... She Increases the charging speed, keeping the battery healthy, it feels like this function has stopped working. Help solve the problem

Could you check how long it takes to charge when the phone is off?

Also, are you using Sony's cable and wall charger?

In the off state the current as well as in the switched on, about 500mA, the charging time of the switched off phone is -3.5 hours

Charger and cord factory.interestnaya feature: the phone is switched on in standby mode and is not used, the current tester is connected to the charging, it shows at the output about 500mA, on the smartphone the program shows the ammeter exactly as well. But, it's only necessary to load the phone with the Internet or play like a tester Shows 700-1300mA, but the phone at the same time keeps 300-500 mA charging current. It turns out that charging can give the required current, but the phone for some reason limits it. In a week ago everything became good, the phone was charged quickly, as expected, about 60% per hour , But after 6 days I had to restart the phone, and it immediately began to be recharged for a long time, it turns out the system problem, if the reboot affects

try to troubleshoot the problem .

first compare the charge times when the device is at 0-10% ( on and off) using only the wallmount charger .

the general consensus is that the device will slowdown charging once it reaches 80-90% capacity to avoid damage to the battery.

better yet,. compare your device to a simillar device at your nearest sony service center., Local support

I do not understand what wall charging is. Can not I enter recovery mode on this model? In earlier versions of the androids, WIPE often coped with problems. Can it be possible to reset the battery or charging controller?

I noticed a decrease in current after 80%, it works. I noticed when the phone is charging quickly, the current was changed from 1300mA to 550mA, at 80%, now, when the phone is charging for a long time, the current varies from 500m to 100-200mA when reaching 80%. Wrong data, instead of the set 1400m he gives 500mA, this is the current that should work to recharge the phone after 80%, and not to charge the phone from scratch

@Ivan_46, i don't know if this available with Xperia XA but you can check for a settings called Charge Optimization at settngs>about phone or something simillar. try to disable that

recent sony devices have all this particular feature to slow down charging at higher capacity. it has been there I think since z3+

I meant to use the adapter and charge the device on a walloutlet. not thru usb in a pc or laptop

In xperia xa there is no such function, it is possible that it will appear in android 7, if it still comes out on xa
