Xperia XA boot loop

The phone randomly shut itself off and it is now stuck in a boot loop on the Sony logo and the screen keeps flashing on and off. I've turned it off several times, tried to repair it using the Sony PC companion but it did not seem to work. I then tried to see if it would work doing it a second time but now it won't even let me connect it to the PC companion when holding the volume down button then plugging it in. It is also on default charge only setting for when being plugged into the computer so it will not automatically connect to the Sony PC companion, and I obviously cannot change that via the phone.

Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear this. I recommend that you try and remove and SD and SIM card from your device to see if they may be causing this behavior.

If the device still won't start and you are unable to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion, I recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for repair.
