youtube video quality in Xperia XA Ultra

I just purchased an Xperia XA Ultra, the phone comes with a default video that looks super clear but when I try to watch videos on youtube the quality is just the worst even on 1080p 60fps. I mean even 360p on my old phone(low gama) is way better than 1080p in Xperia XA Ultra. is this a "Manufacturing defect" or how can I solve it? sorry for the bad english

ya.. i had it too.

i got my xperia xa dual ver. 3 days ago... i dont know but the quality of videos (any applications) were just bad... even on hd quality.. looks like oversharpened. every single move in the video doesnt look smooth like my old xperia m2..

is it just because the software?

What do you mean by bad? If your comparing it to a flagship then obviously it won't be up to the mark. I have the Xperia XA (720p HD) and the video quality is fine, it does the job.

Try turning off Bravia Engine 2 or Super vivid mode, Settings>Display>Image enhancement.
