How to copy the phone number from caller list and paste it in text message field.

I have Xperia-Z , I want to copy the phone number from caller list (which is not saved in caller list and I dont want to save ) to text message and send it to other person. I could not do this operation.

Model no: c6602 Xperia-Z

OS: Jelley Bean 4.102

Also I dont find any copy paste or mark and copy operation can you please tell me how to do this operation.

U can do the same.

just touch n hold the no u want for 2 sec, u will get options -> select "edit no before call" ->u will get another screen on that touch n hold the no in dailpad u will get option of copy & the same way in text msg u touch n hold (in msg type box) n select paste option.

I have xperia Z and i am trying to copy & paste a mobile # or email from a contact record and paste it in the a SMS or wattsup but when I hold I didnt get the option to slect the text while in samsung I have that option

Please help how can I do that

In new 423 firmware, you can add contact and send it as a text message. so you don need to copy as it is a long procedure. sony has made it simple now

even I dont know how to install that new firmware but I think the idea to have the copy & paste available in all mobile menus will give us more flexibility

my xperia Z always informing me that I have the most recent android version but I know that there is newer one 4.2.2 but it seems sony didnt release it up to now
