How to do a screen shot using 4.2.2

The old method of doing screen shot is no longer available with JB 422.

Can someone advise how do we do this now?

Like other android phone same applies for xperia z.

To take screenshot, hold power button and volume down button simultaneously.

When I do a hold power + volume, the result is a change of phone alert status from ringing to silent mode?? No screen shot was made.

How to change this behavior?

you have to press them at the SAME time

power & volume down = screenshot

power & volume up for 6 seconds = restart

incubus22 I am having the same problem as well after the upgrade to 4.2.2..if you get a solution, please post.. And the volume up button and power off key me thoda doesn't work..

@abhi12344 it does work, you must press and HOLD them at the SAME time. make sure you are pressing volume down not volume up or both up and down
