Hey guys,
I've got a Xperia Z, bought a couple of months ago, and it's currently running Android 4.1.2. Now, I know that the 4.2.2 update has been rolled out quite some time, but my carrier hasn't yet released the 4.2.2 version for Xperia Z in my country.
Recently, I've plugged in my phone and connected it to the PC Companion application. The app said that there is a new update, and that I should update my phone.
What I'm asking you is, should I update my phone through the PC Companion or still wait for the carrier version of the 4.2.2?
Thanks in advance,
Chris.

But doesn't the carrier company have to put their own apps and stuff again on the new version of Android? I'm just asking. I don't know.
since your phone its locked to a carrier/network branded you will ONLY get updates approved and released by your carrier, and you will get them OTA, or PCC or SUS or Bridge, you are NOT going to get any other updates.
