Xperia Z C6603 on T-mobile USA

so i purchased my Xperia Z C6603 and it automatically worked on AT&T's 4G network which was awesome,

but because their 4G internet packages cost an arm n a leg, i switched to T-mobile today& now im stuck on Edge/no service Slightly_frowning_Face

my bad, yeah it is not going to work, why? simple

C6603 HSDPA 850 - 900 - 2100

Tmobile USA use 1700-2100 (both are needed)

so you will be stuck on 2G/Edge with Tmobile

now it seems that 1900 is for 3G and 1700 & 2100 is for LTE (combined)

C6602 HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100

the C6603 doesn't work with AT&T's 4G, at least not with LTE, it does work with their H (3.5G) network.

do you have the correct Tmobile's apn settings?

when i put my ATT sim in the phone, they automatically recognized what phone i had and because it was working with their 4G, they added a $30 3GB internet package.

as for t-mobile,the settings they gave me were just "epc.tmobile.com"

i tried downloading settings automatically to see if it helped but it was the same settings. 😕

I have the 6602 purchased at the Sony store in the US and as far as I know you cannot get LTE with AT&T. The best I can get is H+. Also, my understanding is you will be able to get LTE on T-Mobile when it is released by that carrier.

Indeed its not going to work with AT&T's LTE at all

Don't forget to give Kudos
