Xperia Z Notification LED isn't working

Hi all,

I have the problem that my notification LED is not working at all.

Stamina mode is not on, the phone has been rebooted, i tried a factory reset.

Gmail, missed calls, Whatsapp i dont see any notification led only wenn charging.

Any1 a tip for me what todo?

WARNING!!!  DO NOT CHANGE COLORS IN Whats app.. the notification problem will again occur. i dont have any notifications since i changed the group notifications to purple in whatsapp.

Yea thinking of bringing the Xperia Z back aswell.. no support in forums aswell this is bad..

Started a chat with the support department and hoping for an answer a colleague of mine has also the Xperia Z and does not having this problem so it seems not all phones are affected i hope i get a fix i will post here the outcome / answer i get.

Thanks for your message.... i have changed 3 xperia z by now from 3 different retail...one ch country code and 2 de country version all of them have the same issues and the sony support has no ideq at all...

yes i gues yr out of luck unfortunately mine works flawlessy now after a factory reset

green blinking for email white blinking for whats app and blue blinking for missed calls

Yea, ofcourse i do have my idea's where the problem is in and i recon that the stamina mode has something todo with it even tho i am not using this option it might giving the problems we have.

Do u do the factory reset from the setting menu?

Or there is another way...i have done a factory reset 3 times...nothing works

yes i did. after yr reset did you firts install yr backup or did you retest the notificification light

issue first

perhaps try to roll back to a previous version of android see what happens

No i didn t restore my backup...but i setted up the accounts and all the steps that the phone ask me to do to..

in the second post of this thread i posted all i tried and except of boot unlocking and rooting my device for light flow root options i have no idea's left what todo i even gave the device a fresh install in seus.

but nothing seems to help here i allready factory resetted the device 4x now

Find the solution...shit phone...b4 u restore the phone go in setting -backup and restore and untick back up my data and auto restore than reset ur phone ...it works..i think there is a problem with the phone back up..but now it works
