xperia z update 4.2.2 problem

i use the xperia chinese keyboard

when in phonepad mode to write a txt the problem is trying to scroll up or down in the smiley/symbols box.as soon as you touch the screen to scroll it chooses the symbol/smiley and not let you scroll up or down. also some menus are duplicated in call settings and sound settings but this isnt a problem just maybe an error on the update.

if i have international kbrd in phonepad it works fine when adding a smiley etc.

but using xperia chinese (english settings) it will scroll but whateva u touch to scroll it pastes it on your msg

that's quite odd, I can't recreate the same problem on my Xperia Z, what if you try this

settings > apps > all > xperia keyboard and clear everything

will i still be able to restore the app and settings after i clear ?

and do i do chinese keyboard app and clear ?

yeah, you are not disabling anything just clearing, and yes do the same for the chinese keyboard.

done it and set it the way i like it again but still no joy, it still works fine in the international phonepad settings

really appreciate you trying mate,

and you learnt me a few xtra things about my sony z

still think its the best phone on the market and i will keep trying the pc companion update service which one day could fix the little glitch it has
