My Xperia Z5 Premium won't turn on.
I've pressed and held the power button. Didn't work. The hard reset is not working. I tried pressing the off button near the SIM and tried turning it on again. Didn't work.
Also when i hook it onto the charger the notification light doesn't light up. PC Companion isn't recognizing it either.
Please help!

Hi BlazeAwesome,
Welcome to the community,
Before attempting the software repair try the following.
Hold the power button and volume + key for around 15 seconds, once done immediately connect to a charger and keep it on for around 1 to 2 hours.
See if you can power the device on, if no follow through with the provided instructions.

Thank you alexdon and Jake.
Jake, I tried what you said but it still is unresponsive. I'll go ahead with what alexdon suggested.
Thanks.

I've reached the part where I have to make sure my phone is turned off and connect it to the PC. I'm sure the phone is turned off but it doesn't proceed to the next step.

Can you try to charge the device for 2 hours before trying this?

So turning the device off, starting the repair process and connecting with volume down pressed doesn't trigger the repair?
