KD-49FX9005, No more BBC IPlayer, ITV Hub, 4od or Demand5

Hi,

I previously had a KD-49FX9005 and all the catchup apps were on the home menu in Apps.

That TV was replaced with another set due to a cracked screen.  However all the catch up apps are gone from home page and do not exist in the google play app store on the TV.

I have signed in to the google accounts section and YouView is enabled and checked for latest TV software update and its on.

Any ideas, I'm sure they would not just remove the service?

Thanks

Jat

Hi @jat_cheema   Perhaps time for a factory reset.

Hi @jat_cheema   All of those players are under Sony Select on my home screen. Make sure that you have Sony Select available on the Home screen by selecting Customise channels (v6.6510) Note I have YouView disabled.

Thanks, I tried that but only have a few apps, DW, Redbull TV etc even after disabling YouView.

Yes, I can do soon.

Just odd all the demand players are not showing on google play either.

I'll reset after the cricket.

Thanks, that worked fine.

Youview is enabled. I think what happened is when Currys gave me the replacement they must have put it in demo mode. This time it asked me to use my andriod device to set it up.  Previously I just switched it on and worked for the replacement TV.

Thanks Again
