Connect 40HX853 to Sky Box via ethernet cable

Is it possible to connect my 40HX853 via ethernet cable to my HD Sky box to take advantage of anytime+

Hi

I think you simply connect your Sky box to the Internet via Ethernet/wifi etc and then connect the Tv via HDMI to the sky box..rather than any other combination.

I'm guessing your HD sky box is already connected to your Bravia tv via the HDMI port..

If so then as long as your router is in close proximity to your Sky HD box then it should be a fairly straight forward process..

First turn on your Bravia TV & SKY HD box, then connect an ethernet cable into the back of the your SKY HD box & then connect the other end into one of the ports on the back of your router..

Hopefully once the ethernet is connected a pop up message should appear on your Bravia's screen saying that a broadband connection has been detected & to press to Select to enable..
