I have a KDL-40W705C and my son loves to press the keys on the actual TV set. Is there a way to deactivate these keys?
I have looked through the settings exensively and I have also tried to find info online without luck.
Hoping this forum might be able to help out.

Hi there
Im afraid it is not possible to disable those buttons. Short or putting some type of cover over it, there is not much you can do other than keep telling your son - No
But a cover wouldnt work if hes too inquisative either, as he'll just pull it off.
Cheers

My Logitech K400+ has an ON/OFF button at the top front side.
Gets deactivated as long as your son does not discover this.

Thanks for a quick response! Definitely a feature for Sony's product people to consider.
