If you are running multiple apps in the background and/or heavy games, camera, etc, the phone will heat up, the room temperature will have an effect too, as well as poor network coverage. If the phone gets too hot, it will disable some apps so you can still keep using the phone, do you remember iPhones shutting down when they got hot? and if your phone doesn't cool off, but keeps getting hotter, then it will shutdown to prevent any damage.
As for your last comment, are you aware of exploding Samsung devices?

@Bilalawais255, no matter which OEMS you use if you use the device heavily you will experience the same heat, but if you rather switch , a fair warning.

Hey, my z5 premium is doing the same since 7.0 update, never happened in any other update and I used to use my phone a lot more back then, did you ever find a fix apart from going back to 6?
