Hi Team,
I have purchased Sony Xperia XA F3116 at Big C Mobiles (Invoice Number :SI/AMP2/4931), Ameerpet, Hyderabad on 24-JUN-2016. Next to that, I'm severely facing sound issue not able hear by playing songs/videos.
I have registered the complaint in the Sony service centre at SS Electronics, Ameerpet X Roads, Hyderabad.The complaint no. 16062501667, and they given it back with same sound, which means, there is no improvement.
And just now chatted with Harish, regarding this issue and he suggest to visit again to service centre. and same raised the ticket no :16062804655. Hope for best on my issue.

Settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test the speakers, make sure to turn up the media volume not just the ringer

I would first suggest that you test the Speakers as described in the first reply in this thread. How does your device behave while testing it in diagnostics?
Is it just the media volume that does not work or is it also for alerts and calls?
Make sure that there are no covers or similar that are blocking the speakers.
Have you tested your device in safe mode?
my speakers are very quiet, compared to the loud sound some days ago. They work, but you can hardly hear the music and the ringtones. build is 33.2.A.2.93 since some days. Can this be the reason?

If the test fails in Diagnostics you may want to have your device examined by a technician at an authorized service centre if there is a significant change in volume compared to when you first started using your device. Contact your Local support for information on how to send it in.
There are however a few things you can check out first. Is there any change if you reboot your phone to safe mode? Have you tried performing a software repair using Xperia Companion? Since that will reset your device remember to make a backup first.
we had a reset to factory settings - no solution. we made a complete software repair using companion - no results. The speaker works, but very silently. Can this problem come from the firmware version?
and we had a reboot in safe mode. same result: no change.
If there was no change after a complete software repair I'd advise that you have your device sent to and examined by an authorized service centre. Contact your Local support for information on how to have it sent in.
You might also be able to return it/send it in through your retailer.
speaker is not working suddenly after 30-40 seconds during every call... i can only continue the call upto 20-30 seconds, after that, I need to make another call to continue.. Ear Speaker Test is passed.. please let me know the solution.
