Unable to copy data from internal to external memory

How can I move data from internal to external. I have trying to move using file commander and file explore also but got failed.

Its like the source is not available. No idea for now, @Viridis @nolramlb any ideas?

i'm sorry if I have missed something you already tried,

let's first try to move the files while in safe mode.

move the file using the inbuilt file explorer (copy or move will do, as long as we can transfer the file)

settings>storage:advanced>storage>internal memory>explore>(find the file)>long press>3dots>copy to>select sd card

does that work?

as far I am aware, there are folders that appears to be the external memory. but remember due to google android memory partition external memory is not the same with the SD card memory (removable memory/storage) , so it might be that you are trying to move the file in a restricted folder.

Myself I would format the sd card in Windows and make sure it has read and write access in the file system.

It's a system app ar effect is it can't be moved to the sd card only certain apps and data

Hi All,

Do you have any ideas how can I succesfully copy/move media files from my Internal Storage to my SD Card.
I am using File Commander as a File Manager and everytime I will copy/move files this window always pop out.

I have also used ES File Explorer before installing File Commander but it shows the same error.

But I have managed to copy/move files from my Internal storage to SD card via Settings > Storage & memory > Transfer data.
I am hoping on receiving a fix or workaround for this. Thanks a bunch!

Yes facing the same issue with XA Ultra just as it mentioned in the tagged link of XA. Is there any work around on how to transfer the files from Internal to SD Card?

Please format your sd card using same xperia phone
